- 超市购物
- 少量房屋整理工作和洗衣

- 可以说英语和普通话
- 烹饪简单的饭菜
- 乐于和我的家人进行普通话交流和辅导

工作时间表可协商 - 每周25到30个小时
- 工作从2019年9月1日后开始。
- 每天早晨至少2小时，每周至少五天（每周最少10小时）
- 其他15小时可灵活安排（每周至少15小时）

关于我的母亲和我们的家庭：
我母亲今年87岁，和我的家人住在同一栋楼里。她很容易照顾，因为她体型小（110磅），性格随和。她可以独立行走，但是健康状态越来越虚弱，需要别人帮助洗澡和在室外散步。
我的家庭成员包括我（教授），我的丈夫（音乐家）和我的小儿子（16岁高中）。我丈夫和我在家工作，有灵活的工作时间表。我们在上海生活了8年，我的丈夫和儿子想继续练习他们的普通话。


SEEKING A PART TIME MANDARIN/ENGLISH SPEAKING HOME HEALTH AIDE (HHA) IN EXCHANGE FOR ACCOMMODATIONS AS SALARY

This is a part time job in exchange for accommodations with our family to do Home Health Aide (HHA) work for my 87 year old mother and ideally some Mandarin tutoring for my family. It would require a minimum of 25 hours of work a week. The schedule is flexible so that you can have another job outside the family. In return for your work you would have a very large sun-lit bedroom with private bath, lots of closets and access to kitchen and laundry in my mother's apartment close to subway , grocery stores and parks on the Upper West Side. The room is available as of September 1, 2019.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES WOULD BE HHA WORK FOR MY MOTHER
- help with bathing and grooming
- meal preparations for breakfast and lunch
- grocery shopping
- light house keeping and laundry
- accompany her on short walks

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- a woman
- some experience with elderly care
- can speak in English and Mandarin
- is comfortable with cooking simple meals
- wiling to do some tutoring in Mandarin with my family

WORK SCHEDULE IS NEGOTIABLE - between 25 and 30 hours a week
- position is available starting Sept 1, 2019
- Mornings at least 2 hours 5 days a week (min.10 hours/week)
- Other work hours are flexible (min. 15 hours/week)

ABOUT MY MOTHER AND OUR FAMILY
My mother is 87 years old and lives in the same building as my family. She is easy to care for because she has a small body (110lbs), and has an easy-going personality. She is able to walk independently but is weaker So she needs help with bathing and walking outside.
The rest of my family includes myself (a professor), my husband (a musician) and my younger son (16 years old in high school). My husband and I work from home and have flexible work schedules. Because we lived in Shanghai for 8 years my husband and son would like to keep practicing their Mandarin.
