【项目名称】Medical Image Registration and Information Theory
【项目背景】Image registration is the process of transforming different sets of data into one coordinate system. It is used in computer vision, medical imaging, biological imaging and brain mapping, military automatic target recognition, and compiling and analyzing images and data from satellites. Registration is necessary in order to be able to compare or integrate the data obtained from these different measurements. The project will explore novel methods for medical image registration via connecting the registration problem to recent advances in information theory and statistical signal processing.

Estimated workload: 10-12 hours/week
