马丁路德中学欢迎并接受来自世界各地的国际学生。我们帮国际学生寻找美国寄宿家庭并展开为期一学期或一学年的寄宿生活。
每学期，我们接到越来越多的国际学生申请，因此我们需要您的帮助！我们寻求更多的当地寄宿家庭与我校合作。您所提供的美国寄宿生活必将影响并切实帮助每一位国际学生，甚至融合中美国际文化交流。我们会仔细甄选调查每一位学生，以便更好的与您的家庭匹配。
我们需要满足寄宿家庭条件并乐于提供国际学生（多数来自中国）寄宿生活的当地家庭。我们希望您的家庭距离马丁路德中学在合理能接受的范围内，以方便学生上下学。我们会优先选择中英双语家庭，但只要您的家庭成员会说英语即可。
寄宿家庭要求：
1. 至少有一位寄宿家庭监护人年满21周岁或更大。
2. 提供寄宿学生在寄宿家庭期间的每日均衡三餐。
3. 提供寄宿学生合理空间的单独卧室，并配有必要的家具。
4. 提供至少10个月的安全生活环境。
作为寄宿家庭，您将：
1.与“新孩子”共同留下珍贵回忆，并建立一生的友谊。
2.语言交换，互学一门外语，与“新孩子”一起丰富业余活动。3.丰富您的家庭生活，从“新孩子”身上切身感受并获知外国文化。
4.成为美国使者，向“新孩子”分享并宣扬美国文化。
如何申请：
1. 请直接拨打电话： 718-423-1170 或发送邮件至：[email protected]与我校寄宿家庭管理员取得联系，以获取《寄宿家庭申请表》。
2. 请完整填写《寄宿家庭申请表》后，将其发回至同一邮箱地址：[email protected]
3. 我们会在对您的申请进行审核后，通知您进行家庭背景调查的相关事宜。
4. 成功成为寄宿家庭。

Martin Luther School welcomes international students from around the world. We will bring international students to live with American families for a semester or academic year.
We are getting more and more international students applications each year, so now we need your help! You can make a difference and help bring the world together by hosting a foreign exchange student. We will choose a carefully screened student that best fits your family.
We need local families who are available and willing to host international students(mostly from China). We need host family lives within a reasonable distance from our school, and host parent is preferred that speak both English and Chinese or someone in your family speaks English.
Host family minimum requirements:
1. At least one of the host guardians in family is 21 years old or older.
2. Providing the student with 3 balanced meals daily.
3. Providing one reasonable spacious private room for each studentwithnecessary furniture.
4. Providing a safe living environment for at least 10 months.
When you become a host family, you will:
1. Create memories and build lifelong friendships with your new’son’ or ‘daughter’.
2. Exchange languages and widen spare time activities with your new’son’ or ‘daughter’.
3. Enrich your entire family as you learn about the foreign culture from your new’son’ or ‘daughter’.
4. Become an American ambassador, sharing the US culture to your new’son’ or ‘daughter’.

3. We will process your application and notify you for background check.
