Main purpose of job:
The Management Accountant has core responsibility for financial statement reporting, identifying and analyzing variances, and supporting business managers in managing revenue and cost, other monthly reports and ad hoc analysis.
The role also covers the accountability to ensure all finance processes, including AR, AP, bank reconciliation and payroll, done in the country or outsourced to the finance center, are well performed and controlled.

· Analysis of month end variance to budget / forecast for revenue and expenses and engaging with departments to review and understand drivers for reporting commentary
· Supporting Business owners with understanding and managing costs and accurate revenue accounting and reporting
· Preparation of internal month-end management accounts and analysis, together with commentary / advice as required.
· Oversight of timely and accurate AP and AR processes including bank settlement· Managing payroll process
· Liaison with local statutory / tax accountancy firms to ensure compliance
· Finance focal point to work with local banking provider.

Other responsibilities
· Key member of global finance leadership and coach to business community for finance knowledge and awareness
· Identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities and promote never-ending incremental “there is always a better way”.

Principal Skills & Experience:
Essential
· Recognized accounting qualification with at least 3 years' PQE, preferably in eCommerce and other fast-moving sectors
· Experience of operating and managing financial processes, controls, and reporting.
· Highly numerate, accurate and used to working to tight deadlines.
· Liaison with stakeholders both internal (e.g. senior management) & external (auditors, customers, tax authorities).
· The ability to work on own initiative as well as working well as part of a team.
· Excellent Excel skills

Desirable
· Experience of working in small and medium company environment
· Experience of Quickbook is an advantage.
· Fluency in English language and Chines language
