Accounting Intern

An American accounting firm looking to recruit tax intern candidate. This position is located in midtown Manhattan. We will open up 15 tax internship positions (starting from Dec, 2017 for tax season in 2018) and PLUS Career (COED Group) will be in charge Of the recruiting for this position. Responsibilities:
Work closely with team members to ensure a thorough completion of each client's tax returnAssist the preparer in e-filing the returnsAssist the preparer to make corrections after the auditsAssist in preparation of clients' financial statements, including Profit and Loss and Balance SheetExpect to quickly learn and Fully utilized all of the systems and software necessary for tracking client status
Qualifications:
Working toward reachinging an Associates or Bachelors degree.Ability to work in a team atmosphereExperience working with Microsoft Office, strong proficiency in MS ExcelWorking knowledge of QuickbooksExcellent communication skills
